This post and pics are from our three visits to Ben’s General Food Store (BGFS)….all within the same week 😛

| We first stumbled upon BGFS during our first visit to Publika. We were immediately attracted to the colourful sight of food display when we were passing by the little deli. |

| There are not many tables here. Perhaps just over a dozen, making BGFS a nice, cozy place for good food. |

| I love the plates that they use here. They remind me of the very same plate I used when I was a kid. I wonder where I could purchase these. Would be a nice addition to my own kitchen 🙂 |

Now, I will let your eyes feast on the beautiful and colourful, plus delicious looking food….
I wish I could taste every one of them 😛

| Beef Lasagna (RM23.90++) Comes with a side dish of your choice from the display counter. This side dish was called chicken with orange something….sorry, I couldn’t remember. |

| The beef lasagna became our favourite food here. Portion is huge. So much of meat.Somehow, we both agree that the lasagna here tasted much better than the ones in Ben’s. |

| They also have Mushroom Lasagna, also at RM23.90. I’ve tried it (sorry, I couldn’t find the pic). Beef tasted much better…of course 😛 |

| BF ordered T-Bone steak (RM75.84) You need to choose the cut and weight that you prefer. Then they will take it back to the kitchen to cook it. |

| The steak comes with 2 side dishes of your choice. |

| BF thought the steak was just average. He asked for the steak to be cooked well done. |

| Beef Pie (RM25.90++) The side dish that I chose was something something with cod fish. Well, there was hardly any fish in there. |

| I couldn’t finish the pie as it was quite big. Plus I felt a little ‘jelak’ after eating so much of it. Perhaps it was due to the buttery crust. I did enjoy eating it as the beef was tender and tasted good.Lots of meat in the pie which is a plus point for me. |

| Pescatora Pizza (RM31.90++)We both love thin crust pizzas. As for this pizza, it was just so-so. However, the seafood were fresh 🙂 No fishy smell. I guess we will just stick to the good ol’ beef lasagna for now 🙂 |
