Marco’s Pizza, Kelana Jaya

admin Avatar
It was Malaysia’s National Day yesterday and we had this sudden craving for pizza.
So off we went to Marco’s Pizza which is located opposite of the Kelana Jaya LRT Station.
We reached there at 5.30pm, only to find that Marco’s will only be opened for dinner at 6.00pm onwards.
Lingered around till 6.00pm and we were the first customers there.
Brightly painted.
Restaurant is clean but some of the seats need serious repair.
The tear on the sofa was quite bad.
The drinks menu
Food menu
Wild Mushroom Soup (RM8.80)
It tasted a little weird at first, though BF grew to like it after awhile.I didn’t like it that much though.
We could mildly taste the wild mushroom but not in a bad way.
Spaghetti Carbonara (RM21.80)
I liked it.
The pasta was cooked al dente.
The sauce was creamy.
Besides, the chef was quite generous with the beef bacon.
BBQ Chicken Supreme (RM24.80)
I was a little let down by this.
It wasn’t as flavourful as we have expected.
There’s something that is missing in the pizza.
And we just can’t seem to able to think what it is.
Deep Fried Chicken Wings (RM15.80)
A little expensive for just 3 pieces of wings.
Surprisingly the wings were quite good.
Well seasoned with crispy coatings.
I didn’t even dip it in the BBQ sauce that was served with the wings.
Most importantly, the wings were not salty.
Verdict: Easily accessible by taking the Kelana Jaya LRT line. Overall, the food are okay. The pizza was supposed to be the star that evening but it turns out to be a disappointment. I might only return for the spaghetti carbonara.
